Ken’s Bio:

Ken Spencer is President and CEO for HR Service, Inc. and has over 30 year’s benefit compliance, employment law and human resource management experience.  He earned a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, and two undergraduate degrees in Marketing and Finance.  Ken taught benefits, employment law and HR for 8 years for Westminster College, and 1 year for The University of Phoenix as an Associate Professor.  Ken is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources from HRCI and was certified in change management.

HR Service, Inc. ( ) was formed in 2004 providing HR Solutions, Benefit Compliance & Benefit Administration making compliance, HR and administration simple for broker partners and employers across the country.  HR Service, Inc. is made up of three separate divisions: ERISA Solutions, HR Solutions and Benefit Administration Solutions (B3PA – Benefits Third Party Administrators).

ERISA Solutions provides brokers and their employers with the ability to complete a benefit compliance assessment, track compliance online, create, manage and deliver SPD Wraps, Summary of Material Modifications, and Employee Notices.  They also provide full service ACA Reporting and 5500 reporting.

The HR Solutions division provides HR support, HR outsourcing, HR help desk, employee handbooks, supervisor training and HR compliance audits for organizations across the country. They offer various web-based solutions for training, HR Compliance assessments, Total Compensation Statements and Employee Handbooks.

Their benefits administration division (B3PA, LLC) provides high tech, user friendly, cost-effective administration for HSAs, HRAs, FSAs and COBRA.
